Role of Traditions: Access to healthcare in Mexico

For Mexico the access to the healthcare for all their community is a top priority of its public policies. One of the important reforms efforts has been the inclusion of the “Seguro Popular” and the corresponding reforms to the General Law of Health, nevertheless, the public service still has not reached all the population  is extremely deficient particularly in the rural areas. The main challenges of the Mexican healthcare public system are to finish with the lack of medicines and low quality of the service provide by the personal. The female mortality in some areas of the country is high according with information provided by INEGI, even of the existence of the free access to the healthcare.1
